M6 Theatre is committed to being as welcoming, inclusive and accessible as possible ensuring we ignite everyone’s imaginations.

Access not only includes our performances, but also how we work and who we work with.

  • When booking our tours, we prioritise accessibility and programme M6 Theatre shows in accessible venues where possible. Please refer to each venues’ accessibility guidelines when booking tickets.

    M6 Theatre’s studio space on Albert Royds Street, Rochdale an accessible space for audiences and workshop participants.

    We are continually adapting and working to improve accessibility for creatives and industry professionals wishing to use the studio.

  • All our performances at M6 Studio are relaxed. They are designed to welcome anyone who will benefit from a more relaxed environment or who might be anxious about attending the theatre for a range of reasons. An easy-read social story is available for all touring shows, detailing what you can expect from the performance.

  • All our performances at M6 studios are PWYF, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to access our work, whatever their budget.

  • Where possible, we offer performances with integrated British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation. Please see out What’s On page for listings information.

  • M6 Theatre is open and inclusive in our approach to casting and our recruitment processes.

    We are committed to ensuring equal opportunities for all performers and creatives regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, age, physical appearance or socio-economic background.

     

  • We are committed to providing affordable and accessible facilities and resources to accommodate the diverse needs of participants with disabilities, creating an environment where barriers to participation in any form are addressed.

  • M6 Theatre believes everyone should be able to use our website, no matter what their access requirements are, or which technology is used.
