Latest Update from M6 Theatre
During the past few weeks, whilst our M6 Studio building has been closed, the M6 team have been busy working from home and connecting online to develop a range of digitally focussed projects to creatively support children, families and artists during lockdown. These include:
April 2020:
Sharing the film archive of our OFFIE award-winning play, Whatever The Weather, free to download here with new fun creative activities to support home-schooling.

Collaborating with Rochdale Borough Culture Network and Public Health partners to distribute free creative survival packs including Whatever The Weather storybooks (illustrated by artist Amy Pierce) and activities to local families.
Launching a new short monologue writing competition, Love in the Time of Corona, to capture this unprecedented time – enter here
After the Easter break our Youth Theatres will be participating in digital rehearsals for their devised performances.
May 2020:
Releasing our archive film of the wonderful M6 play A Tiger’s Tale by Mike Kenny, free to download with new fun creative activities for children.
Announcing the 10 winners of our Love in the Time of Corona writing competition and filming the performances to share on social media platforms.
Collaborating with RBCN and Public Health once again to distribute free The Street Where I Live storybooks and activities to support local families.
