Create Rochdale Trauma Informed CPD Session

Theme: Trauma Informed Practice with Cultural Education

Thursday 30 April, 1pm – 3.45pm at Skylight Circus Arts, lunch provided

FREE of charge for creative practitioners, educators and anyone who works with children and young people in Rochdale Borough.

Trauma can negatively impact children’s social, emotional and physical development. In this session we’ll learn what trauma is, how it affects people and how to support children and young people who have experienced trauma. We’ll be looking at this topic through the lens of cultural education and discussing how trauma informed creative activities can contribute to recovery and improving children’s health and wellbeing.

Speakers include :

Educational Psychologists from Rochdale Borough Council’s Early Help and Schools team

Saz Domville a Creative Health Associate at Edgehill University and Freelance Arts Practitioner
