M6 works in partnership with schools to bring artists, children and teachers together for a magical, theatrical shared experience. We create plays and digital resources for teenage audiences and can offer bespoke outreach projects for your school/college.

The Incident

The fully-funded RSE resource is a powerful and emotionally engaging tool for Year 9-13 students and designed to use in the classroom/similar setting. The age-appropriate resource explores themes of healthy relationships, coercive control, consent and emotional wellbeing through filmed scenes and structured discussion with embedded safeguarding measures. Curriculum for Life

M6’s Curriculum for Life programme aims to support young people’s mental health and wellbeing.

The live plays toured to Rochdale secondary schools from 2016 to 2025. The films and accompanying resources are designed to be used by professionals working with young people.

We Care

A resource for teachers and professionals that gives Cared for Children the opportunity to tell their stories and have their voices heard.

Cultural Education CPD

Create Rochdale, in partnership with M6 Theatre Company, are curating a programme of free cultural education CPD events for the 2025-2026 academic year. These events are suitable for both primary and secondary school teachers, or anyone working with children and young people, in education or in the creative sector.

Children, Creativity and Nature

Discussing how creativity and the outdoors can enable children to explore the world and develop skills for the future.

Arts Award

M6 is an Arts Award Centre and we can deliver Discover, Explore, Bronze (11+) and Silver (14+) in your school. Arts Award encourages young people to engage with the arts and develop their skills.
