Act to Shine

A group of young performers in formal dress stood in front of a wooden desk.

Act to Shine is for young people who are neurodiverse or have a disability, in partnership with Barnardo’s who provide additional support.

This group is led by experienced theatre-makers and facilitators Alice Bunker-Whitney and Kerry Mullen, and is supported by a Barnardo’s support worker. Barnardo’s manage the waiting list and ensure an individual risk assessment and support plan is in place for each participant. We intake new members once a year in September. The group work together to devise a new and original play which they perform to friends and family in the spring.
