A film and resource pack for use by professionals working with young people aged 13+
Clueless raises awareness of mental health issues, self-harm and suicide. This resource contains two interlinked elements:
- An intimate, emotionally charged, single voice play which provides a powerful stimulus to provoke meaningful and important peer discussion around the issues of emotional and mental health, wellbeing and serious self-harm.
- An accompanying facilitators pack, which has a range of follow up activities designed to explore the issues raised within the drama and provides professionals with an opportunity to signpost their young people to the pastoral support available within their own setting, as well as specialist mental health support services.
Clueless has been commissioned by NHS Heywood, Middleton & Rochdale CCG in partnership with Pennine Care NHS and Healthy Young Minds Rochdale. This resource is a digital version of the live performance and facilitated workshop that toured to Rochdale's secondary schools in 2016.
Cost: Free for Rochdale schools, fee highly subsidised for schools outside of Rochdale.
“This innovative multi-agency partnership project, made in Rochdale, keeps the authentic voices of local young people centre stage. We do well to listen and learn from them." Gail Hopper, Director of Children’s Services, RMBC
