An uplifting film and activity package for KS2.

To support the Recovery Curriculum, M6 has created a special film with follow-up activities for The Linking Network. KS2 children in Rochdale will also be able to enjoy the package FREE OF CHARGE from 16 November.

When We Started Singing by Mike Peacock provides a safe space for children to reflect on a shared lockdown experience and reconnect with each other. The package includes:

• A beautiful BSL interpreted 15-minute film
• A follow-up pack filled with creative and fun activities inspired by the story and designed to support children’s social and emotional wellbeing (created with the guidance of Erica Field)
• A specially commissioned song, lyrics and backing track
• A filmed BSL tutorial to learn how to sign along with the song
